Someday I would love to get to the Antarctic, but until then, this was pretty magical.

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon is at the base of the glacier, and chunks calve off and float for a time in the lagoon, eventually finishing up on the Diamond beach.   To say this was beautiful does it a disservice, as it far surpassed any superlatives you can imagine.  During the summer months you are able to take a dingy and see the icefloes but I kind of liked that this was not going on, as it was quiet and tranquil, even with the many tourists there.
